Sajilai is vehicle rental software built for Nepal. Run your fleet, bookings, handovers, QR payments and rental agreements from one dashboard, and get bookings from renters across the country.
Questions from rental owners
What does Sajilai cost, and are there booking fees?
Every plan starts with a free trial, then a flat monthly price in rupees, paid by QR, eSewa, Khalti or bank transfer. There is no commission and no fee per booking; customers pay you directly.
Does it work for bikes and scooters as well as cars?
Yes. Cars, SUVs, jeeps, Hiace vans, motorbikes, scooters and cycles all work the same way, each with its own prices, deposit and papers.
How long does it take to start?
Create the account, add your vehicles with photos and prices, and upload your payment QR. Most businesses have their first vehicle on the board the same day, without any technical skills.
Can customers pay by Fonepay, eSewa or Khalti?
Yes. Upload your Fonepay, bank or wallet QR once, and every booking gets a QR with the exact amount and booking code. A payment only counts once you approve the screenshot.
Does Sajilai hold my rental money?
No. Customers pay you directly through your own QR, wallet or bank account. Sajilai only records the payment once you approve it.
How do security deposits work?
Set a money deposit on each vehicle, and choose whether you also accept a motorbike, a cheque or original documents instead. Fuel, odometer, a checklist and photos are recorded at pickup and return, so the refund is settled against the records.
Can I set hourly, daily and long-rental prices?
Yes. Set hour packages for short rentals (for example 2 hours = NPR 1,000 and 4 hours = NPR 1,500), day packages (1 day, 4 days, 10 days), and per-day price ranges for longer rentals.
Will it remind me before bluebook, insurance and pollution papers expire?
Yes. Alerts warn you before the bluebook, insurance, pollution test and route permit renewals are due, and before a service is due by date or kilometres.
Can my staff use it?
Yes. Staff accounts handle bookings, handovers, returns and payments. The plan, booking rules and business settings stay with the owner.
Do I get my own booking link?
Yes. Every business gets a share link that shows only its own fleet, so customers from your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp can book you directly. Your vehicles also appear on the Sajilai marketplace.
Can I track EMI and payments to vehicle owners?
Yes. Record bank EMIs and payouts to owners who supply vehicles to you, with due dates and reminders, next to what each vehicle earns.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They book and pay from the website on any phone, and you can add walk-in and phone bookings yourself.
Can I rent out a private (red or white plate) vehicle?
Nepal's federal transport law limits private-plate vehicles to private use, and some provinces have their own rules. Check with your Transport Management Office before renting out a private vehicle. Sajilai is booking and records software; it does not register vehicles or give legal advice.
