Bicycles and mountain bikes for rent across Nepal. A city bicycle usually costs NPR 500–1,000 a day, and a good mountain bike more.
Where to ride
Inside the Kathmandu valley, quiet rides run to Bhaktapur, Godawari, Chobhar and the hills of Shivapuri and Nagarkot. Pokhara is easier on a bike: the Lakeside road, the dam and the ride to Begnas Lake are all popular. Mountain bikes suit trails above both cities.

Do I need a licence to rent a cycle?
No licence is needed for a bicycle. The shop asks for an ID and usually a small deposit.
